Digital Storytelling - Drug Abuse

Digital Storytelling refers to using new digital tools to help ordinary people to tell their own real-life stories. The duration of this Digital Storytelling is 7 min and does not involved interactivity. It is produced in a form of a video. The elements include narrator, interviewee, text, images, voice-over, sounds and video effects. The development teams in developing the Digital Storytelling are project manager, multimedia programmer, graphic artist, interface designer, script writer and storyboard artist.

The title of the Digital Storytelling is Drug Abuse. The issues that include in the Digital Storytelling are such as the factors why people taking drugs, the effects of drugs, types of drugs, the ways of recovering after being addicted. Digital Storytelling also involve interview in order to collect information. During the interview process, the officer of Agensi Anti Dadah Kebangsaan had been choose to give the information about drug abuse such as the percentage of people taking drugs in a year and what are the activities in the agency. The Digital Story Telling has the mission, which is to tell the community how important for them to know about the bad effects of drugs.

Virtual Reality - Malaysian Wedding Boutique

Malaysia has many different races that consist of Malay, Chinese and Indian. Every race has its own custom of wedding. By developing this virtual environment, audience can get to know the different custom of wedding for each race. This boutique will display the collection of wedding accessories for each race. This virtual environment allow user to walkthrough in the boutique to view wedding package for three main races in Malaysia. User can click the small icon in the boutique to view the information of custom wedding for each race. They also able to watch the real wedding ceremony situation on a TV. This virtual environment will make user feel that they are in the boutique. The target audience is Malaysian youngsters and tourist.

Virtual Reality - The panoramic view of paddy museum



The Paddy Museum is one of the tourist places in Kedah. This little hill juts out in the middle of the flat land, which is covered by paddy fields. It is really nice building of museum. The scenery that surrounds the museum is the attraction to the tourist. They can feel the greenery and peace environment that they could not have at their country. The panoramic cubic view of Paddy Museum is to promote the Museum among the tourist and to show the realistic view for users. The target audience is Malaysian citizen and tourist

Virtual Reality - Lab Cisco Walkthrough



The walk-through animation of Lab Cisco is a sample of upgrade laboratory that based on ergonomic features. This virtual environment allow user to walk-through in the lab to view the ergonomic and safety environment. This virtual environment will make user feel that they are in the lab. This is the example of the future lab that completes with ergonomic computer, chair, table and room to avoid uncomfortable and body injuries.

3D Modeling - Character



This is a rendering image of character modeling. The character is pencil that act as football referee stand on the field. The setting of lighting important to make the sample of character modeling looks real. The environment around the character shows that it now at football stadium.

3D Modeling - Fruits



This is a rendering image of fruits modeling. There are lots of fruits such as apple, banana, and cherry. These fruits is in the bowl on the table. Each fruit model will be texture to make it look like real fruits. The setting of lighting also important to make the sample of fruits modeling looks real.

3D Modeling - Room



This is a rendering image of room modeling. Each object in this room like fan, bed, cupboard, chair, vase and table was model using the Autodesk Maya software, then will be texture to make it look like real object. The setting of lighting also important to make the sample of room modeling looks real.
